Boys JTL Tryout Information

2012 Junior Trojan (JTL) Boys Tryout Registration

The Boys Junior Trojan Lacrosse team is a select team

Junior Trojan Lacrosse -Senior Team
Players in the 7th & 8th Grade who are selected
through the tryout process.

Junior Trojan Lacrosse -Junior Team
Players in the 6th & 7th grade who are selected
through the tryout process.

Tryout Registration Window: October 24th - November 27th 

Tryout Fee: $35

Season Fee: $425 -payable upon making the team

Season fee includes: uniform, basic photo package and a minimum of (1) tournament.

A (1) or (3) payment plan is available for season registration fee.

  • Monday Nov. 28, 6:30p-8p
  • Wednesday Nov 30, 6:30p-8p
  • Friday Dec 2, 5:30p-8p
  • Saturday Dec. 3, 10am-1pm

Team selection will be sent by e-mail to all players who participated in the tryout by 11pm on Sunday, December 4th.

JTL Season Practice Schedule

Multi-Player Discount

Trojan Youth Lacrosse offers familes a discount for multiple players within a family.  A 15% discount will be given for each child registered after the first registration.  The discount will be applied during the registration process for 2nd & 3rd children in the program within the same family.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of registration up to one week after the player's first practice will provide the family a refund of 90% of the registration amount.

Physicals Required

A current physical is required to play Lacrosse.  If a player played in Fall TYL/JTL then they have satisfied their physical requirements for the 2012 tryouts, otherwise a physical must be provided prior to beginning 2012 tryouts.

Proof of Grade Required

Please be prepared to show a recent report card or other Cobb County Schools document to show proof of grade.

US Lacrosse Membership Required

Before you register your player with Junior Trojan Lacrosse, please check the expiration date of their US Lacrosse membership at www.uslacrosse.org.  It is required that each player have a US Lacrosse membership that is current through May 31.  If the membership expires prior to May 31st, 2012 please renew the annual $25 fee.

Parents are responsible for a current membership number and validation in order to complete the JTL registration process.  This membership provides the league with insurance for the team and requires 100% membership participation; a player cannot begin practice until we receive a copy of the player's validated US Lacrosse membership card.
