Volunteers...that is what makes Trojan Youth Lacrosse happen...100% of the time.
As a pre-requisite to your child playing within the TYL organization, we do ask for your availability to volunteer when called upon. We will work around your schedule and your area of volunteer interest. Volunteers are asked to volunteer their time for a minimum of 2-3 hours per season, per family.

TYL will offer concession stands at our fields on game days. Volunteers in this area will manage the purchase of food supplies, delivering of supplies to the fields, set up of concession area, breakdown of concession area and working the concession stand on game day.
We will ask our volunteers to work the concession stand a minimum of one-half of a game, allowing them to watch their child play during the other half of a game. Those volunteering in this area will be asked to work 1-2 weekend games throughout the season.

Field preparation involves the lining of the playing fields prior the start of a Saturday or Sunday game-day schedule. This will be done sometime between 6am-9am on Saturday's and prior to 12 Noon on Sunday's (should there ever be Sunday games scheduled). These volunteers will allow for up to 90 minutes to line all three playing fields, including travel time between the fields.
Field Preparation volunteers will average about (3) game-day days of field lining. Upon lining the fields, this volunteer will also place the goals and orange marker-cones on the fields.

Volunteers will work (1) game during season where they will be responsible for running game-clock and keeping game score. This will also include table/chair set-up and/or possible table-chair break-down.

This (1) volunteer will be responsible for the initial scheduling of practices and games on the lacrosse fields, prior to the start of the season. This volunteer may also be called upon during the season in the event where re-scheduling may be required due to weather or other unforseen events.

These (2) volunteers will be responsible for scheduling student-referees for all games throughout the season. The Boy's league and Girl's league will each have their own dedicated referee coordinator volunteer.

These (2) volunteers (1 Boys & 1 Girls) are responsible for the purchasing of medical supplies for each team's first-aid kit, disbursement of the kits at the start of the season and collecting the kits at the end of the season. This volunteer will also replenish supplies as needed throughout the season when coaches call to request additional supplies.

Responsible for uniform & spirit wear selection, ordering and managing spirit wear sales during the first three weeks of the season.
